The AC4 December minutes were approved as submitted.

Council members discussed the handouts. Pat Kearney provided information on what is available for those who receive financial aid. Dorothy reported on a program that she is working on to obtain computers for students.
Discussion about statistics in draft press release of what percent of incoming freshman own computers.
Actions:
Paula to look into student computer ownership statistics and report back to AC4.
John Stenzel to revise press release draft incorporating council discussion for review by AC4 Steering Committee where it will be approved.

Kent Kuo reported on the status of the first five (14.4 modems, Web Search Engines, DHCP, Network Access Ports, MyUCDavis/Faculty Web Tools) ITF projects. For more details, see the handout.
Action: Review or remaining projects to continue at next month's AC4 meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 3:30. Some council members stayed for the AC4/AdC3 joint meeting. The next meeting is scheduled on Monday, February 14, from 2:10 to 3:30, in Shields Library, First Floor Conference Room.
